I saw the internet light come to a stand still and glow its green-ness while the Cable Link light complemented it, PC-Link and Cable activity light started flickering in tandem. I put my book down and checked if Google’s homepage would appear. It didn’t. I hit the refresh button and waited patiently, and sure enough it slowly appeared; the thanksgiving doodle wishing me a happy thanksgiving. I guess it’s going be as slow as shit like last night, this is worse than no internet, it’s like driving on the freeway during rush hour, you only move an inch every few minutes. I guess that’s what’s going on in my modem. For fuck’s sake, it’s Thanksgiving today! Why the fuck is there a bottleneck today down cyber highway?
